360° Electrostatic Disinfection for Offices, Clinics, and High-Traffic Buildings

We apply EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectants with electrostatic sprayers so the solution coats more of the surface — including sides and undersides that spray bottles and cloths often miss.

This is an add-on to professional cleaning, not a shortcut around it. Park County Cleaning serves commercial, industrial, medical, and residential properties in Cody and across Wyoming.

The method

What it is

Electrostatic disinfection is a way of applying disinfectant — not a chemical by itself.

A specialized sprayer puts an electrical charge on the solution as it leaves the nozzle. Most surfaces are naturally neutral or slightly negative, so the charged droplets are pulled onto the surface and wrap around objects instead of only landing where the spray is aimed.

Traditional spray-and-wipe coats what you can see and reach. Electrostatic application is built for the rest: chair legs, monitor backs, bed rails, equipment undersides, door-handle recesses, and crowded high-touch rooms.

The sprayer does not kill germs. The EPA-registered disinfectant does — and only when surfaces are cleaned first and the product stays wet for the contact time on the label.

Process

How we do it

Four steps — clean first, then charge, wrap, and dwell. The disinfectant does the work; the sprayer helps it reach more of the surface.

  1. Clean first

Visible soil, dust, and spills are removed so disinfectant can reach the surface.

  2. Charge the solution

The sprayer charges each droplet so they spread instead of clumping.

  3. Wrap and coat

Charged mist is attracted to surfaces and coats the front, sides, back, and underside more evenly than a trigger bottle.

  4. Dwell, then dry

Surfaces stay wet for the contact time on the product label, then air-dry. Exact time depends on the product used.

We use EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectants labeled for electrostatic application and follow the contact time on the label.

The benefits

Why facilities add it

Qualitative advantages over wipe-down alone — no kill-rate claims, just coverage and process.

  • More complete coverage

On irregular and hidden surfaces than wipe-down alone.

  • Faster pass

On large or furniture-dense rooms than wiping every fixture.

  • More consistent coat

    Less “missed the underside.”

  • Touch-free disinfection pass

    After the room is pre-cleaned.

  • Less wasted product

Because more solution lands on the target instead of pooling or running off.

  • Fits existing cleaning

    As a scheduled high-touch program, a facility-wide treatment, or an on-call visit.

Best fit

Who it’s for

Offices, clinics, schools, gyms, and other high-traffic buildings across Cody and Wyoming.

  • Medical, dental, and clinic spaces

Waiting rooms, exam rooms, chairs, counters, equipment exteriors.

  • Offices and government buildings

Desks, break rooms, conference rooms, restrooms.

  • Schools and daycares

    Classrooms and high-touch common areas.

  • Gyms and rec facilities

Equipment and lockers when the product is labeled for those surfaces.

  • Restaurants and lodging

Dining rooms, restrooms, and common areas on allowed surfaces only.

  • Industrial sites

Attached offices, break rooms, and restrooms.

Food-contact surfaces are treated only with products and methods the label allows.

How we schedule it

Service options

High-touch program

Scheduled electrostatic pass on desks, handles, restrooms, break rooms, and waiting rooms — weekly or after hours.

Facility-wide treatment

Offices, clinics, classrooms, and common areas after a deep clean.

Terminal / discharge support

Rooms after a change in occupancy. Healthcare-adjacent work follows the facility’s approved products and protocols.

On-call / outbreak response

An extra disinfection layer after illness in a building, or when a bid spec calls for enhanced disinfection.

On site

What to expect

  1. Walk-through

Of high-touch areas, surface types, and building use.

  2. Pre-clean

Visible soil removed so disinfectant can reach the surface.

  3. Product selection

From EPA-registered disinfectants labeled for electrostatic spray.

  4. Application

By a trained technician; surfaces left visibly wet for the full contact time.

  5. Re-entry

After dwell and dry, per the product label.

  6. Documentation

Available for clinics and contracting officers: date, areas treated, product name, EPA registration number, and contact time.

People are kept out of the spray zone as the label and safety data sheet require. We do not spray people, food, or surfaces the label excludes.

Compliance

What this service is not

  • Not a replacement for daily janitorial cleaning
  • Not the same as fogging or whole-room misting
  • Not sterilization
  • Not a claim that illness will be prevented
  • Not a substitute for hand hygiene or building ventilation

Surface disinfection supports a clean building. It is one layer of a full cleaning program.

Common questions

FAQ

Is the sprayer what kills germs?

No. The EPA-registered disinfectant does. The sprayer helps that product reach more of the surface.

Do you still clean first?

Yes. Disinfectant does not work through dirt.

Is it safe for offices and clinics?

When we use products labeled for those sites and for electrostatic application, follow contact time, and keep people out of the spray zone as required.

Will it damage electronics or furniture?

We match product and distance to the surface and avoid spraying into vents, open devices, or materials the label excludes.

How long until people can come back in?

After the labeled contact time and after surfaces dry — often minutes, not hours. Exact time depends on the product.

Is this fogging?

No. Fogging fills the air with very fine droplets and often needs longer clearance. Electrostatic spray is a directed, charged mist meant to land on surfaces.
